Meet the Author
Ruxandra Vidican
Ruxandra was born in Romania and emigrated to the United States with her family as a teenager. She is making her writing debut with Hara and The Key, being inspired by her own transformational journey. She lives in Los Angeles with her four- legged companion, Watson, pursuing her creative endeavors in writing and music.
"Hara and The Key just came to me as I was going through a very difficult period of my life. Hara came to teach me how to listen, follow, and trust. I am extremely grateful that this beautiful story found its way into my life and can now be shared with all of you. Meet the Illustrator
Teodora Bicescu
Teodora is a multi-medium artist who explores the universe of visual aesthetics through a variety of media including traditional and digital painting, sketching, and illustration. She lives with her fiancé and puppy in Romania’s idyllic countryside where she enjoys the beauty and quietude of nature.
"I always wanted to illustrate a book and I am so grateful that the Universe has intertwined our paths to make this wish come true. One day, Ruxandra reached out asking if I’d be interested in reading a story to see if inspiration strikes. I was immediately captivated, and as we brainstormed the artwork, we soon realized we shared a deep connection and had very similar ideas about the illustrations that would accompany Hara through her journey. We poured all our hearts and love into the project, and slowly, Hara came to life.

To me, Hara is infinite. She made me realize that her essence lives in each and every one of us, reminding us of our strength and resilience, and that we are all capable of great things."
